Some of the comments say that he may not have deserved it. Just to let you all know....the man had a knife held to the kids throat and he was telling them that if they didnt back off then he was going to make the kid go "bye bye". And he was using the child as a shield to the cops on the left side and yelling at the ones on the right side but when he turned completely and the kid was out of the way, the cop drew his gun and laid him out. He was going nutts and the situation actually escalated from a talk to him with a knife to the kid. he got what he was asking for.
