It happened in 1993. The father reportedly was abused as a child, apparently disgruntled after witnessing his ex-wife verbally abusing their daughter and degrading her. Daughter became pregnant, commited suicide, in her suicide note she said she couldn't be the daughter her mother wanted her to be. After the death, the mother went to the gravesite with some reporters, the father came behind her and shot her 12 times in front of a live crew, as you see in the vid. He's still awaiting trial.
I remember seeing this awhile back, but it's crazy after he fires the first shot and the reporter realizes whats going on how the mother's hair goes flying forward. The reporter finally gets her wits and says let's go after yelping, and I am at least happy that the father wasn't senseless enough to hurt anyone OTHER than the verbal abusing mother. Shame

Actually, the reporter had interviewed Emilio Nunez earlier that day and then took *him* to his daughter's grave. They shot footage of him laying flowers on her grave and then the ex-wife showed up. The reporter tried to interview her there and you saw what happened next. Then Emilio drives away. The cameraman (who said "Get in the car. I got it on tape!") and reporter get in their car and call the cops. Emilio was arrested. At trial, his laywer claimed the reporter drove him to the mental state he was in with that interview earlier in the day and that the cameraman's remark supported his theory that the reporter was after a sensational story. Emilio was found guilty and sentenced to a minimum of 25 years to life. This is courtesy of the retelling I just saw on MSNBC. Unfortunately they didn't get into whether Emilio's gun was legal or not and whether he got it before or after the daughter's suicide or maybe the very morning of the shooting. Moot point, I suppose, since the jury didn't buy that sorry defense, but I'd still like to know.
