230 years and millions of lives later, we still have our freedom in the United States. This video tribute is a compilation of war footage dating from the first World War to the current war in the Middle East...all of which makes this Independence Day possible. Even if you're not American, this is very well done.

Its sad that noone here so far has shown any signs of grasping what a 'Tribute' is. Or shown any signs of Respect Either.

It is not to Glorigy all those Lives lost....It is to HONOUR (or HONOR in the U.S), the soldiers that lost their lives fighting these wars and the soldiers that returned mentally broken. It is to honour these men and put in stone the fact that WE WILL NEVER FORGET. And to remind the families and the veterans, that their friends, sons, fathers, uncles, brothers, nephews, etc etc......did not die in vain.

Whether the Presidential decisions now and then, to go to these war was wrong or not...the fact that millions went and a vast majority of them never returned needs to be remembered. Whether drafted or volunteered it NEEDS to be remembered that they Were Still There...fighting and dying for every right that you seem to unappreciatively take for granted every day and in every way.

Don't conclude your standpoint and views of previous wars, based solely on the actions of todays leaders and the wars fought from their orders. The times have changed, the mentallity based on desperate and intense times have changed and the rules of engagement have all changed.

Whatever the reasons for them going....fuck that, just remember and Honour those who did and continue to go to war and those who are there now putting their lives on the line and watching their friends die. If you don't, then you don't deserve any freedom that you have....and I mean that.
