Wow, even if the person said anything procedural law states that if force while on duty is excessive from the official representing the law as opposed to the force used by the individual in question the officer then oversteps his boundary and violates law putting him in trouble.
You don't bring a knife to a gun fight do you? Well, thats what officers don't want to have to do, but the moment a gun instead of a knife is used on the officer THEN he may proceed to exude that kind of force. Although, the statement says "Anything you say can, and will be used against you in a court of law," I dont think the officer was in the right.
Verdict: the officer should be fired and stripped of gun and badge
