After a Japanese kamikaze pilot is found floating in the sea, he takes the surefire approach to killing himself: a hand grenade. I was really pulling for a shark to eat him though.

First off the idiot in the water pulls the pin out with his mouth and secondly the guy on the boat was cocking his gun. lastly you dont load a automatic on the top of the gun.

Japan's Salvation eh? Look where it got them, hell it probably played a big part in them getting nuked.

Their troops had enough fervor to commit suicide for their country. It was projected that an invasion of mainland Japan would have cost 1 million American lives, that very fervor that fueld the kamikaze pilots may have been the same thing that caused the U.S. to Nuke them.

That too, but mainly because of the fanatism that was shown by the Japanese during the battles to take Okinawa, Iwo Jima and other Pacific Islands. The horrific nature of the Japanese 'warrior' was enough to regard the use of a nuclear weapon as a means that unfortuantly would take thousands of lives [BUT] would save MILLIONS. Not just to save American lives, but also Japanese, British, Australian, Canadian. New Zealand...(And all the other allied nations fighting the Pacific Campaign of WW2).

The world can condemn the US all it's wants for dropping two A-Bombs....but if it hadn't, the world would have been in a unrecoverable state of war and death whilst the Japanese attempted to expand their empire.....and deep down (YOU ALL KNOW IT).

I've seen this video before. The Japanese pilot did not kill himself. The american soldiers on this boat kill him instead of picking him up as a POW. Kind of a way of taking revenge on the Kamikaze.
