americas fucked that sucks. i got charged with possesion, untensils, consuming and supply and all i got was a $200 fine. if i went to jail id be thinking "why am i here surounded by criminals" why put someone who smokes weed in a place where theyre gonna get beaten and have their life ruind. ive smoked weed several times a day for the last 3 years and i have a job and a life. my dads smoked weed for 25 years and he earns $150,000+ a year. new zealand culture is just different i suppose

It's not a violent crime and it costs taxpayers a lot of money over something that's arguably less threatening to the community. Violent crimes go unchecked everyday and are commited by both sides of the law, and these people are the ones being put into the prisons. If you're happy paying for these people to live somewhere else I'm sorry to say you don't make much sense... If there was no want for drugs they wouldn't be here, they're always going to be here, and paying for the people who sell them to live somewhere else is rediculous because it's always going to be on the streets. You should think about it, since you're probably just a school kid you don't know much about what your taxes go to.
