Kangaroos are savage creatures, but they will usually hop away from you and rarely approach humans unless they have been fed by people.

It's when they are cornered (Like all animals), that they lash out and atttack, and if those claws reach your guts....well the word disembowelment comes to mind...or atleast deep lacerations.
