ok skateboarding should be done in safe environments and not outside hotels or whatever but the guard was bang out of order. Not surprised the kid took a bat to the window.

Guard out of line - even if he had told them gazillion times, he can not inflict injury to them. He should have called the real cops and they would take care of him.
Video though, without the skater trying to break the glass windows, is a strong evidence against the security guard if the skater sued them.
Skaters also must respect the rules of private properties and other peoples jobs even if their job sucks.

Good for the guard. Where I live the town centre's got signs up saying no skateboarding, etc and still these fuckers carry on. So far they've knocked over at least 2 old woman(1 receiving a broken hip) and also 1 asshole smashed into a pram with a 6 month old baby in it, if it hadn't been for a passerby's quick reflexes the child would have been smashed to the ground by the impact.
