The difference between the gok's and other morons on this site is that this guy went (presumably) of his own free will to fight for something he believed in. This war being right or wrong doesn't even enter into the picture...this guy signed up to serve this country and risk death on a daily basis. I say that deserves a "Hats off to you" for his coruage.

I’m sure he believed it was his patriotic duty as an American to enlist in the war, and that it was for a good cause. So these soldiers and their families still deserve our respect for what they have gone through(of course I’m not talking about the small percentage of fuckheads that are doing horrible things to civilians. There are always a small percentage of these types in every war.) And you have to remember, regardless of the fact you think we shouldn’t be at war, there are a lot of worthless fucking fanatical murdering psychopaths in Iraq that would love to kill you if they could, just for being who you are. Still I think war is the dumpest thing there is and I would fight for my own life but not for any government. Sure I have to live in a society but that doesn't mean people can tell me what to do.
