I was thinking Texas police might use videotape more. If you watch “Most Shocking” or “World’s Wildest Police Chases” or any of those kinds of shows that show criminals it seems like most of the time it’s in Texas. I live in Texas and everyone knows how huge it is so maybe that is partly a factor also?

Well, the perp DID tell the storeowner that he robbed that "The cops wouldn't take him alive". But it's weird how he went from being a friendly guy to the police to being someone the cops had to shoot. I wonder what made him snap. Poor bugger.
