Lol, first card trick I ever learned. My uncle showed it to me when I was about 7 year old. Only problem is that this kid does it the easy, and not nearly as impressive, way. Just controll the card to where you want it, don't tell them where you're going to put it :-)

Oh, and yes...yes it does piss off other magicians when one reveals the secrets. In the words of "The Prestige", "They'll beg you to tell them the secret, but don't do it. You'll mean nothing to them once you do. The secret impresses no one, the trick you use it for...is everything."

Easy but still takes talent. I cant get that second from bottom card out without it looking like im doing so.

After watching this, I've also decided that he's not that good of a magician. Check it out when he does the glide slight...he pulls the card out differently then when he does it the other times. First rule of magic is "don't reveal a secret" second rule is "Do every move the same way". Not only that, but he can't even fan the cards!

damn it for double posts....

I sympathize with both sides... revealing the secrets hurts magicians and takes away the mystique in the viewer, but on the other hand, I really really want to know how it's done!
