John Bunnell is his name, and he was a deputy sheriff in Multnomah County Oregon starting about 1969 or so. His last 6 months he was actually the Sheriff but rumor has it he wasn't very well liked as the boss. He retired in 1995 and was an ok cop by most reports but the way he acts you would think he was J Edgar Hoover or Elliot Ness reborn. Granted he did a lot of narcotics work as a cop and made some pretty good busts in his time but he acts like he is the all knowing, all seeing voice of American law enforcement and his attitude bugs the hell out of most people in the profession to be honest.
