Powered Paragliding has been around for sometime now, the new motor this guy was testing has had some problems. the problem was the hook ins for the paraglider were made too close to each other, so when he got off the ground they twister and he when down. the guy in the video is one of the best pilots of paragliding and was the first one to get that motor in the air...and his accident pointed to the problem

not exactly the wright brothers at kittyhawk, but still pretty entertaining.
