I think it's quite apparent that this guy didn't want to fight. He knew he was outnumbered, but he kept them all at a distance with his reach.
I'm not going to make stupid comments about thug life, hip-hop music, or anything of the sort. Here's why: It doesn't matter what music you listen to, who you associate with, or how you party - there are always going to be idiots in every environment.
These guys got embarrassed in front of a lot of people. They talked shit and then couldn't back it up, got smacked around by a much larger man, and then jumped him to save face. They got precisely what they deserved, and props to the guy for not putting up with this type of crap.
I normally walk away from morons, because lowering myself to their IQ level is stupid in and of itself. However, I'm not the type of person to say that some things aren't worth fighting for. My family, for one, and my friends for another. But, I don't defend my friends if they're in the wrong, I will be there to make sure when the fight is over, it's over, but I don't jump in so they don't look like a fool. If they're dumb enough to tie in with someone, they're dumb enough to accept the consequences of their actions.
People like this belong in prison, not out on the street where they could hurt more civilians looking to have a good time.

Shroomy - how exactly did I go far right wing? By saying people like this need to be put in prison? That's not a political stand point and has nothing to do with whether I'm right or left (I happen to lean farther left on social issues). Your leftist attitude dictates that anything you don't agree with seems to have the general conception that I must be right-wing.
The point I'm making is that people like this are far too old for social reform or re-education. Most of them are far beyond any kind of rehabilitation, period. People like this ARE a danger to society, and serve no purpose by being involved where they have to interact with people who are not like them.
As a general rule of thumb, a person who incites violence to cover their own short-comings doesn't belong in society. I fail to see how that kind of logic can be argued with or discussed.
You have a general leftist (Note: Not Liberal) attitude, you criticize without offering any suggestions of your own.
Let's say children had been there, or other people who were not apart of this scuffle had of been harmed - what would you have said then? Now, granted, they weren't, but what was the point of all this? A few words were exchanged, and it was apparently enough for these guys to try and harm this person who was out-numbered? That's pathetic on more levels than I care to go into.
Your other posts on this forum illicit the same level of anti-American feelings, and your attitude isn't liberal, it's not Democratic, it's leftist - and leftists, as we've seen so much in the past, are the extremists that give Liberals a bad name.
Cuca - I believe this issue was approached yesterday with the sign, if you don't like what I say, or don't care to read it - that's fine. You are not obligated to. I have certain ways of conveying my messages, and yes they are long-winded and lengthy, but I try to approach different angles in just one post, as opposed to making multiple posts arguing the same principle. I appreciate the words of encouragement in regards to the points I make.
But, my friend, if you don't like - then I apologize, but I will not stop my posting habits to appease others. Either you read it and you like it, you read it and you debate with me, or you ignore it. I'm fine with any of the above, these comments were created for a reason, so that people could openly discuss what they've seen.
I think it's a great tool, and I try to utilize it to my advantage and to the advantage of others.

It took me a total of ten seconds to read your post, my friend. Less than a minute to read mine after I wrote it. I think that when people see the clip, it becomes ingrained into their minds enough to think critically about what they've just seen - as opposed to popping onto a forum and having no basis for their discussion.

I would have to also say that I think anyone can be reformed reguardless of how screwed up they are... i feel that that is one of the reason our prisons are so over populated because we simply give up on people... its so much easier to throw them behind bars and forget about them... I agree also that this wouldnt have been good if children were present however as a parent we must decide what enviorment we choose to have our kids around... if you go places where you shouldnt be your going to always run into things that may be bad...
