It looks like the one cop prevents the suspect from splattering his own brains all over the street, but consequently gets the other one shot in the forearm. Nice partner.

that's what he gets for trying to save a man's life...damn that sucked! but ya know it could've been worse.
A perfect example of why people should have the right to die.
Also, the description seems hostile towards the cop. Why? The cop moved fast in the heat of the action and managed to do his job. His partner only got shot in the hand; he could've gotten shot in the shoulder/head/place-much- worse-than-hand if the bullet went through the suspect's head ... so kudos to the cop who forced the gun out of his hand.

@ Props2U - Well depending on what he did, death could have been an easy escape. Allowing him to commit suicide is to not hold him accountable for what he did, and therefore wrong. Whatever he did it was probably pretty bad if he's willing to kill himself, I'd rather see him rot in prison.
