DaBizack, how come almost everytime you leave a comment it's a negative one about the person involved in the video.
Are you trying to take the anger of your own failure out on everybody else, or you just think you're funny...?
Well, it's getting really old and it's taking up a lot of space on the server that could be used for comments that don't waste people's lives.
Grow up.

@ lala4:
You think this is funny? I am appalled at your comment. By taking pleasure in another's misfortune simply because your life is obviously miserable and pathetic you are implying your own self-pity. It also suggests an inability to accept personal responsibility. Do yourself a favor and admit that your life sucks because of YOU, not because there exist happy people in this world. Or better yet, continue to take comfort in other people's mishaps and keep up the little delusion that your pitiful life is somehow directly correlated to others' success. Being a bitter hag is productive and quite becoming.
By implying that "happy" Jessica Dube doesn't know the meaning of "life sucks" you're conveying your belief that successful people are strangers to hard work and suffering. Did you ever stop to think why she is successful? Maybe it's because she wanted to achieve something in her life and busted her ass for years to make it happen....which you obviously know nothing about.
And as a final note, I wouldn't be so quick to say she "doesn't know the meaning of life sucks": she's had two operations, been in a car accident, lost a finger in a lawn mower incident, and now has a deep-tissue gash across her face that will inevitably disfigure her for life. So before you start the self-pity routine of blaming achievers for your own shortcomings, maybe you try to fix your own worthless life.

I am not particularly hurt nor did I compel anyone to be. I was simply pointing out that the reason you guys get enjoyment from others suffering is because your own lives are crap. It is much easier to resent other people's happiness than to admit your own. Having no sense of self-responsibility is a major problem in this world. People are too lazy to work for their own success (i.e., happiness) that they either (a) feel entitled to a handout or (b) are jealous and resentful.
Clearly, my point was not that we should all hold a vigil and cry together for the figure skater. I was merely stressing that fact that whatever is wrong with you is not her fault.
And the fact that you believe women should be seen and rather than heard is not offensive to me. I just feel sorry for whoever has to date or marry you, if anyone actually would.

@lawdear. clearly the one with self issues is you. I laugh at all types of things, people getting hurt is one and I am quite happy in life. the need to come to some website video wank fest to prattle on with your rant on how others should not laugh at certain things or their live sucks is just silly. as one person above posted. hush now....shhhhhhhhhhh
![]()
Please explain to me the logic you used to arrive at the conclusion that I have self issues.
The original comment I posted was in reference to someone saying "i like it when shit happens to happy people who have no idea what the phrase "life sucks" means."
If you look at it realistically, that suggests jealously and resentment. Laugh at what you want...I know I do. But if seeing something like that actually makes you feel better about yourself - you obviously have serious problems. And some sort of inferiority complex.
And if I'm not mistaken, many people on this site rant about things that strike a chord with them. If I read post that I think is ridiculous and want to comment on it, your telling me to "shhhh" will have no bearing.
Happy Typing!

Lawdear: Personally I think your original comment was spot on. I however don't bother arguing with the folks here. With the exception of a small handful, most of these "people" are not worth the effort of trying to impart any sense of morality or common sense on. They are happy being racist, ignorant savages, and since they don't know you in real life their opinions on things don't carry any weight unless you give it to them.
Most of them will argue with you simply because trolling on these boards is the only meaningful thing in their shallow little lives. Like the sign at the zoo says "Please don't feed the animals".

LAWDEAR.... the LAW part of your name... you a lawyer? If so, most likely a defense attorney...otherwise no $$$$. Soooh, you would defend a child rapist for the "right" amount of $$$, yet you want to come online and be all sympathetic about how "terrible" these accidents are. They are pale in comparison the the atrocities one of your kind can allow. Another registered Democrat... if I am right. Please, do tell. Didi I hit the nail on the head??? And never forget...I AM AMAZING!!!!

Farvs, thanks for the insight. It's nice to see someone on here with a little common sense.
ggallin,
First of all, you took a mighty big leap there with your guesswork and analysis. And no I am not a lawyer, yet. I am a 3rd year law student if you must know. Further, when I do begin to practice it won't be in criminal defense; I am going in to tax law. But fyi, criminal law is one of the more interesting fields. I personally do not support rapists and murderers, but our constitution does afford the accused a right to legal representation--its called due process. While many of the accused are guilty, not all of them are. What kind of barbaric nation would we be if we just hung or fried every person who is accused of a crime?
And further, I am not a Democrat. I consider myself a "moderate." It is closed-minded to wholly align oneself with a party simply for the label. I agree with both major parties on some issues and disagree with both on others.
And again I will point out that if you read my comments closely, you would see they had nothing to do with sympathy. Did you hit the nail on the head? I'll have to say "no." The only correct inference you made was the reference to law in my screen name; and let's face it, that doesn't really take a genius to do. Your "amazingness" goes unproven.

LAWDEAR... be a moderate all u want. Keep in mind bipartisanship is non-existant and always will be. What do you do? Vote for the fucking green party? or indepenants, or some shit? All together they = 3% of all votes. Chosoe the lesser of 2 evils & come over 2 the red side baby. I'll probably need u as a tax attorney if yer in MASS, so lemme' know. And dont be so fucking liberal. I know about "due process". Most people dont end up in front on the judge for no reason-I'll be there next month myself. I'll get a jury of my "peers" & if they have half a brain between them I'll be walkin... I'm not into technicalities, cut & dry Y & N. Too many scumbags walk on liberal lawyers "loopholes". ..lookin' to make a name for themselves. Havent passed the BAR yet tho? Keep it up. Just never be a registered democrat & we'll be OK-U & I.

ggallin:
I am definitely not a registered Democrat...I am from Texas, so the "red" tendencies run deep. And no, I don't think I've ever voted for a third party, I am completely aware of the state of bi-partisanship. Still though, political agendas traditionally are thrown at the public in a very "us or them"/"red or blue" manner. However, that is starting to change with the recent bickering within the individual parties. I know it sounds completely self-righteous, but I cast my vote based on the stance of individual candidates...determined both by what they say and what they do/have done. My choices usually end up being either conservative democrats or republicans with liberal tendencies, hence why I label myself a moderate. And no, I haven't taken the BAR yet...that usually comes after graduation, at least in Texas. On a final note, the law is NEVER cut and dry. For every question there are many answers--none of which are necessarily right or wrong. Whether a person walks or is convicted often hinges on the "legal" definition of one seemingly insignificant word. Therefore, the loopholes you speak of are built-in to our system, so that the laws can be interpreted based on individual circumstances. Sorry, but there isn't often a cut and dry resolution...that's why our lawyers must study so vigorously. In the law, you may be right, but you can ALWAYS be wrong.

Wow! Nice discussian... I finally have confirmation that not all Americans are dumb inbreads. I get so fed up of looking at the illiterate rantings of people whose command of the English language was probably gained from a dictionary published by 50cent. They spell their words based purely on phonetics. I don't know whether it's because of ignorance, laziness or just wanting to have a 'style'. Either way, it's horrible to read.
So keep it up Lawdear & ggallin1 (sounds like a firm!) You're doing your bit for raising the profile of the average US citizen's intelligence. Well done...! ![]()
