What they did do was recruit indentured servants from places like China and India, AFTER emancipation of African slaves, because they could no longer get free labor from said Africans.

Take a look at a map of the slave trade, and you will see that the slaves came from west Africa. From today's Ghana, Nigeria, Togo, Benin, etc. It's simply amazing to me that some people are so full of crap they actually believe their own fabrications.
