you guys know nothing about polar bears. they did not attack beacause all they were looking for was a 12 ounce can of coca-cola. then they would have cuddled on a snowdrift watching the sun set. geeezzz

yea when the first one had his mouth around the cage, he should have put his hands around and owned him like that. i would have been thumping noses and pulling on their hands. he really liked it when poley licked the camera. the best thing would be to get no cell phone service when you needed to get out.

I saw this on TV a while back. Theres another cool scene from this special where the guy wakes up to hear his dog going crazy outside. He opens the door and a polar bear has the dog pinned down and is playing with it. The bear didnt bite or kill the dog, but kept it cradled against him, tossing it back and forth. The guy then shot the bear with this beanbag gun or rubber pellet type gun. The bear got the shock of its life and let go of the dog.

A lot animals in the Arctic have not yet learned to fear humans. This includes Penguins and Polar Bears. They were very curious. Did they plan on eating him? Who knows.

Sure glad it was just polar bears and not penguins. Penguins would have been through that mesh in no time.

I am a big fan of nature shows, whilst I dont live that close to polar bears, they are maybe a few days drive away, and I have no intention of ever getting that close. Pretty cool stuff.
