I've seen a whole show on sharp shooters, and competition shooters. It was very interesting.

A plug goes in the magazine and is designed to limit the number of shells the shotgun holds to 3. It is not illegal to remove the plug. It is only illegal to hunt with the plug removed. So much misinformation around here!

Thanks for clearing it up martial. And believe me, a gun is always used for hunting. If an officer finds a shotgun with no plug in it, you'll be in trouble. Trying to say "But I wasn't hunting with THAT gun" will get you no where.
