Well, madmike... They may have made some poor decisions, but that does not equal 11 years worth of jail time for doing their jobs.

IEHF , wow, im impressed! you do have your shit together and i agree with gildorg, fire the guys but dont take the side of the drug dealers and send these two border patrol agents too jail. this happened in my hometown and i am terribly disapointed that president george bush has not pardoned these two guys. this is a terrible injustice! the prosecutor is the one who should be in jail for giving immunity to the drug dealer in exchange for his testimony! THATS WHATS WRONG WITH THIS COUNTRY ....amigos. 
Hey remember that one episode of tales from the crypt when the kid had to live with his evil uncle and work at his morgue and the uncle killed him and cut off his legs to he could fit in a smaller coffin? people were like "wasn't he taller? how'd he fit in that coffin?" then he came back from the dead terrorizing the uncle with the basketball..sometimes i bleed.

This is from one of the emails that I received from Steve Elliot. He is one of the guys leading the charge to get the agents freed. It Follows:
Ron De Jong and I were presenting 304,000 citizen petitions to Rep. Rohrabacher on Capitol Hill.
Under questioning by Rep. Culberson, a DHS investigator admitted
that his department did NOT have evidence to back up a number of
outrageous claims including: Mexican/American agents Ramos and
Compean "wanted to shoot a Mexican"; confessed to shooting an
unarmed suspect; were belligerent to investigators; lied and
submitted false reports; and stated during the investigation
that the illegal alien did not pose a threat.
In addition, the DHS admitted that it began its prosecution
BEFORE completing their investigation!

Why actually is this newsworthy? How much did it cost to have those officers there to do "traffic control"? How many crimes were commited and were not responded too properly because of the drain on manpower...
I offically want any and all wasted semen back that may or may not have been "spent" a few years back. I think I am not alone in this shame...
