I saw this one documentary on The National Geographic Channel, and it showed a cobra bite a mother lion and all of her cubs. They all started walking funny, drooling and had this glazed look in there eyes. The cubs died promptly, and the mother walked a few dozen meters into the distance with her mouth wide open, drooling and looking really out of it. Night fall hit and hyenas started tearing at the cubs as the mother watched, which as pretty sad and gruesome. Then they began to circle the mother, going in for the kill, but the mother still had some fight in her...eventually they left her alone, but she of course died shortly after.
