You people just don’t understand that there are some genetic abnormalities that can cause morbid obesity. One is called Prader-Willis syndrome. But the parents still have to play a big roll in getting the kids with this the right help to ensure that the children get the right medical attention to help the child from getting this bad. This is very sad to me that her parents let it go, for way to long to get her help.
I think it's fucked the way they are marketing her story like any other TV show, showing snippets and leaving you geussing style 'why is she bouncing around angrily on this matress?? we'll tell you tommorow, or after the fuckin break or whatever. It's some kid eating herself to death and it's just fucking entertainment, "will her legs break under the pressure of her body, tune in tommorow to find out'. American TV is deplorable.

I blame the parents. Who else gets mad when people blame their weight problem SOLELY on genetics. I mean, sure, genetics plays a part, but probably 85% of it is eating right and staying active. This girl probably has lazy-ass parents who don't encourage activity or eating healthy. Any kid is gonna wanna reach for the twinkie over the brocolli, its the parents who need to teach their kids that eating healthy is important. I am 6'1" or 6'2" (probably about 195 cm maybe) and i weigh about 150-160 lbs., i eat right and stay active and weight has never been a problem. For all i know it oculd be in my genes to be a fat-ass. I think it is just stupid how many people look for some other route to blame their problems on something else, when it is almost completely their fault (but in this case, the parents.)
I also fucking hate how they just advertise this. The people doing the story obviously don't give a flying fuck about this girl. They are just there for any publicity it will bring in. It is gross how they are making a profit off the suffering of this person. That raises another question ... is it possible that they paid the family in order to get this scoop? If so, that money probably went to her parents, the people at fault. Ridiculous ...

i'm 5'7, 26 and way 160. and its all muscle baby. 
and i aint never been to a gym. worked physical labor all my life. a concept this country is quickly starting to lose.
I'm not being funny when I say I was eating McDonalds when I saw that and I can't touch my food now.... Luckily in the course of writing this email, I was again able to eat. So no worries.
I have two children. That breaks my heart to see a child in distress like that. She has an illness of the brain, but that illness can only be fed by someone enabling her to eat. Something isn't firing right in her head. Mom and Dad or whoever need to be held accountable for this one. If my son or daughter had a problem with food, I'd immediately put a stop to it. Lets just saw if my 5 year old ever hit the 75 pound mark, I'd have red flags going up. At 100 lbs, that's time to seek professional help. WTF are these parents thinking?
