Hi -- first comment here. I decided to comment here by taking sides with the girl. Sometimes, people want to be left alone. I don't think the mother was justified in yelling at her daughter. Sure, her daughter reacted in an immature manner (what with stuffing the candles in the cake), but she looked just about at her boiling point, and the mother seemed very much to blame. On that note, what kind of a mother *dresses* like that?! The family looked well off enough to not be forced to sell their females to prostitution.

When big corporations are no longer allowed to produce the alcohol, there was a lot of money to made in small underground markets, even if there were fewer total customers (which I believe is true).
