i live in japan and can tell u this is extremely common. japanese people and not bad drivers in that they're of low skill, they'rebad drivers in that they're selfish and arrogant. each red light ellicits a "pfft no way i'm waiting another 30 secs" type reaction, so u can get at least 2-3 more cars squeezing thru on each and every red, and pedestrians and cyclists don't care at all what colour the light is, firstly for the selfishness and secondly because they're not at all accountable under the law whatever they do. it's actually quite dangerous to stop on an orange/just red light, quite likely to get rear-ended by the next few cars behind you! every night on my drive home there's at least 1, usually 2 red-right runners, a couple times a week it's completely (not just turned) red. they have no red-light cameras and even intersection cameras like in the video are very rare. they've talked about installing them but backed of for the (completely nonsensical) reason that they invade privacy!

damn! most of these accidents don't even make any sense...

Despite sato's noble attempt at defense, these clips are largely of some extremely retarded drivers. 70% of them show terrible decision making and bad reflexes. Why would you decide to turn slowly into fast moving traffic coming from the side? Unfortunately retarded drivers aren't limited to these few clips from Japan. The states are plagued with them as well as I see at least one retarded driver a day.

thanks for welcome! as for apples, yeah u can buy 25 buck apples, they're huge and perfectly coloured and round. ppl give them as gifts, it usual to give food i guess coz there's not much space so no1 needs stuff cluttering up their house. for everyday apples u eat urself though the supermarket also has 50c apples which are fine. why would anyone move slowly into oncoming traffic? like i said they don't wanna wait 1 second longer than they have to! quite serious! u also see ppl scrambling like hell to catch a train even though they come every 3 minutes! at least once a month i have to brake very hard either for some younger person cycling thru a red light while typing on their mobile phone, or some older person coming out from a tiny side street taking on 6 lanes of traffic without even slowing down, glancing sidways, or even noticing the change in conditions. like i said before it's not that they're a stupid, it's a "fuck u all u can all go around me, i've got a tv show to get home to" thing.
