Gil, you can def. tell this was deliberate, look at the amount of space the guy in the car had from the cars infront of him, nobody was slowing him down but himself, he was waiting for the cyclist to try and pull something like that. You can tell they didnt think of both changing in left lane at same time, right when the cyclist pulled to the def is when the car guy made that hard left, when you change a lane, you dont make that kind of turn.

I thought the same as Gil at first.. But the car that knocked him off the road still had a lot of room between the car in front of it. At least this was caught on film with the license plate. That guy could have been killed.

at 0:08 you can see a tail light in the upper right corner of the video. Thats what the car is trying to pass when it turns out and hits the bike. That he didnt check the mirror and see the bike coming is another thing. He should have known any ass on a bike will come at 50% over the speed limit to pass anything every time. Biker should have waited but by law and by insurance he isnt in fault although i'd say hes the asshole that caused it. He could have waited till the car had passed what ever it was that was infront of it.

I just noticed something els, when the bike is knocked on its side (moment of impact) is aproxemetly where the car implementet in the accident is next to the car its passing. You can tell by the shadows on the road there there is clearly a car there and that the car that is passing, is accellerating just before pulling out to pass just like the bike.
They did the same move at the same time to pass the car, the bike just had better accelleration and got up next to the car to get run of the road. I still stand by my last comment of its the biker thats the asshat but by law and insurance its the cars fault.
