I never really understood the point of ghosts. If they are the souls of dead innocent people left here to teach the living a lesson, then why all the ambiguity, youd figure youd want to get your point across.
And if theyre evil souls trapped on earth for some reason, does that mean earth is more or less hell or purgatory? Otherwise why would it be a punishment for them to spend all of eternity here? And what does that say for us?
We need that kid from that movie with Bruce Willis here to explain a few things, maybe he developed a 7th sense, his sixth was seeing dead people maybe the 7th will be a sense of purpose..
All I saw was a reflection in a window that slightly resembled a human. It could easily be a coincidence as people tend to relate figures they see to real life objects, I learned this is Psych. So if you see a cloud, for example, that has what looks to be 4 limbs, and a tail, people will generally see a dog, or some other form of animal.
If the figured moved around and kept its same form, then I'd say yeah that's a ghost, but all they showed was a still image.

You got nice set of questions there. Ghost or life after death doesn't exist. I know what haapens when we die, by simple observation... If i was not existant before i lived , surely i will not exist after i live. I will go back to oblivion from which i came from. Seems simple to me.

yes i did that hail mary thingy coz many people said it works but sadly not for me! if you read back that comment i made i never said i saw a ghost when i removed the black cloth..right? i just saw my mirror reflection and that made me feel creepy to myself doing it. So now i firmly believe ghost doesnt exist. If it works for you then youre entitled to your own beliefs

@Ladyboy: This is relevant to what you are talking about, and to some extent to the video as well. If any of you have seen the thread i started, or simply observed how my comments on videos sometimes are, youll pick up that I think almost too into things. Well, death being a pretty big thing, think about this mind blowingness..
They say before you die, your life flashes before your eyes. Holding that theory to be true and constant, the key word in that statement is "before". It means that your life flashing before your eyes is part of your life as well. So if that were to be the case, once the series of events that you know as your life is at its conclusion, you would see the very last thing you saw, which is your life flashing before your eyes. So basically, your life flashes before your eyes, then it flashes by again, and again, and again and so on for all eternity. Depending on if you lived a good life, one might consider that heaven. If you lived a bad life, one could consider that hell.
You would not believe how mind blowing that little scenario is when you tell it to a drunk, high, and even better, a person who is tripping on something. It is almost intolerable to them. Its quite classic really.
Either that, or everything just ends. Just black. And you know nothing of it. OR, if you are religious and believe in God and heaven and hell, you may go to the pearly gates.
I was thinking about starting a thread called "Deep/far out/trippy thoughts" Not too sure exactly of the title. I have plenty more though. What do you guys think, would that make a good forum topic??

Hmm...I wonder if I my life is flashing before my eyes right now!!!...but I got so absorbed into it I forgot I was progressing through the "Flashing" phase and now is in-advertantly reliving my whole life?

@Toxic mindzzzz: Well first off, a near death experience isnt a death experience. So your credibility is more or less shot right there. And second, I never said i believed that happened, I just pointed out a technicality in a widely held belief, holding it to be true and constant. And I also listed the other common beliefs, none of which are as interesting.
Ive almost drowned too. as a matter of fact, i reached the point where you cannot hold your breath any longer, and inhaled water once or twice until next thing i remember I am on my side on the beach and everyone is staring at me. I saw no light, no nothing. Nothing more special than when you are knocked out. Thats why I think nothing happens when you die. You just die, and the world goes on without you. But either way, come on, you think after I thought up that little technicality with the life flashing before your eyes thing, I'd still believe it?
