Dunno man. A lot of people agree that Spanish kinda sounds like Portuguese. I speak Spanish myself, though a different kind of spanish compared to Castellano. But I do believe you that this might as well be in Spain.

The police man speaks with such a thick Spanish accent, it's not even funny. This is definitely Spanish and Spain.
Portuguese sounds so different to me. It's hard to think someone could confuse Spanish to Portuguese.
