I'm not defending this particular guy at all. It totally depends on what the fight is about and what the situation is and everything. If you were trying to be tough (which seems to be what THIS guy was trying to do) then he failed at that. But if the circumstance was that this other guy raped his baby sister or this guy was trying to steal his shit or something, then it is totally justified to drop him any way you can. It all depends on the circumstances of what's going on. If you are fighting for a legit reason then kick the guy in the balls, throw sand in his face, head butt him in the nose, pick up a rock, all that good shit.
