My brother was never this nice to me, this guy helped the kid when he got hurt. My brother use to beat the ever living shit out of me. I have had a broken collar bone, broken cracked and/or bruised ribs, a broken nose, and a concussion at his fault. And I don't know how many bruises. He would throw me down my basement stairs sometimes (they were carpeted), but mostly he used his fists. Or the rare but in my opinion worst thing would be to declare that something I did deserved X number of lashes with a belt, and tie my arms out to two doorknobs across from one another in the hallway. He always reasoned that it would make me stronger later. I guess it did in a way. I never ran from him, and even provoked him and fought back as I got older (which is to reason why my injuries were not just limited to bruises). But we are cool now that I am bigger than him and could take his ass easily in a fight.

He never locked me in a portapotty and knocked it over though, thankfully. That would have been just cruel.
