For those who don't know, the fangs are removed, but they will grow back, so the snake is fattened up and then it's lips are sown shut.
Snakes can live for many months without eating, so they are often kept like this until they starve to death.

Unknown fact: Cobras can become extremly docile when kept in captivity from birth. So much so that the fangs dont even have to be removed. These Cobras become as docile as garter snakes.

Ridgeback the snakes slowly die when fangs are removed.
