Imagine if a lion ate your entire body, then shit you out, and you walked away perfectly fine. This is kinda like that.

Man, I can't beleive I'm seeing this video again. It's been well over 18 years since I last watched it. This is my old High School auto shop teacher at a track that used to be in Fremont, CA called 'Baylands Raceway' across from what is now the NUMI plant on Hwy 880. I remember when he played the video for us in class and described the 57 shoebox getting away from him, shooting off the track, and the next thing he knew he was picking himself up off the grass while watching the remains of his Chevy still pinwheel down the outside wall.
For those wondering, he was wearing a four point belt, and it simply ripped clean from it's mounts, as did the seat frame from the force of that first roll. He was a bit unhinged to begin with, but damned if he didn't know all the tricks to make cars go fast. I learned a lot from him in two years of auto shop, and I'm still using that experience on the track today.
