I watched a special on her the other day. Anyway, after watching the special I had a very different understanding of her and I was glad I took the time to watch it. You never can judge someone without truly knowing them and this is one of those cases. She was an amazing young woman and would have done a lot for the poor and children in Honduras. She did a lot of charity work in Honduras that no one talked about or even heard about and her family continues her charity, wish I knew the website. The charity that lives on via her family still does work in Honduras in her honor I believe.

Ok, well charity work is good and all but.... Why Honduras? Why anywhere other than America. Afterall, she is a product of America. Why not give back a litttle to the people of the country that brought you international fame and fortune? I get so sick of all these celebrities like Angelina Jolie and Oprah going over to Africa and these other third world countries to help out with their shit when they could just as easily help solve some of the many problems on OUR OWN soil.

It's also kinda funny how Oprah has planted two top-of-the-line schools in Africa, probably in an effort to get back to her roots. What the fuck? Toxicity - I totally agree with you and I am very vocal about helping people in you’re own country before going off to save the rest of the world. For some reason she choose Honduras and nothing anyone can say would have changed her mind. I think it was some sort of thing to do with her heritage and that’s why she choose that country but I’m not sure. I’m sick and tired of seeing babies being adopted from other countries when there are many children here that need homes and someone to love them. I am a 100% disabled Veteran and the last thing I would do is send any money to any charity that is going to go overseas. Many so called charities, even some in the USA, are actually fronts for terrorists so I advise anyone who is kind enough to give that they research the charity and look at how much of every dollar actually goes to help versus how much is eaten up by overhead, etc. I refuse to give blood to the Red Cross because much of the money donated to the Red Cross to be given to 9/11 victims was kept by the Red Cross and never given out to the victims families. I would much rather have seen the money go to kids in America but obviously she didn’t do that. I’m sick of celebrities adopting babies by dropping a couple grand on some poor foreigners desk. I’m sick and tired of seeing commercials to feed the kids in a foreign country when we have our own children that are homeless and starving. Hope that cleared it up.

That wasn't a cell phone camera... I watched the documentary, she took a month off with family and friends to do a self documentary so her fans would get to know the real person she was. The thing that was strange is a couple of days before the accident they had hit a young child that ran in front of their van, made a big dent in the front. That morning when asked which vehicle they would take Lisa was the one who chose the red SUV, the family then filed against the SUV company as it was prone to roll overs.

I had that on tivo and rewound that spot over and over watching the crash and what led up to it. Imho, she handed the red coca cola box back to the women in the back seat and when she turned back she realized she was into the oncoming lane, over reacted by oversteering to the right back into her lane and then did the same when she overcompensated to the left to correct her mistake.

She was the only casualty, with a fatal head injury. The papers said she was wearing her seatbelt but in the video it doesn't look like she was. It was a good film up to that point and turned into a terrible tragedy.

The documentary is called "Last Days of Left Eye". It was released by VH1 on May 19, 2007.

I seriously doubt this is real. She looks different than normal for starters, second, shes been dead for 5 years, why is this just surfacing now? Third, the film cut out long before they actually crashed. But this is the internet, all the users here are probably living in a prosperous, capitalist democratic country, and most are probably white (not an insult) and probably have grown up never without shelter, food, water, family, friends, education, electricity, government, war, famine, disease, turmoil, exploitation and hope in their livesetc. etc. These are just the tip of the iceberg situations in many many developing and newly industrialised countries, and though yes it does occur also for a small, but growing minority of people in developed countries to a limited extent, this doesn't mean you shoudln't reach out beyond your borders and neighbourhoods (let alone your own house) to lend a helping hand.
