Killing someone for scamming 80 year olds is a bit extreme, but you know the next guy who wants to steal from the bingo pot is gonna think twice now.

he deserved it , they should have gave the guys who did it medals.

Nagano Kazuo died June 18th !985. The company he was Chairman of traded in overseas futures markets in gold.
Before his murder he'd tried to hide evidence by shipping 400 boxes of documents to Hong Kong, out of the jurisdiction of Japan. After he'd been murdered his employees burnt all but 20 of the boxes.
Also after his murder the executives of the company, not content with ripping off the elderly, conspired to divide up 2 billion yen in assets amongst themselves.
Charged with the killing one got 8 years the other 10 years. The reason it was such a light sentence was because it was like the Bernard Madoff $50 billion victim list of the Ponzi scheme. Everyone thought he deserved it and got what was coming to him.
