Ah, good old 'Cops: Ft Worth'. That chase went through my old stomping ground, and the final wreck happened around the corner from a few schools. And not blindly defending the cops or anything (although sometimes we all deserve a good beating like that criminal), but the full chase included the dude causing a car to flip over on its side on the freeway and he rear-ended at least two other cars.

And for what? A stolen van and if I remember correctly some VCRs he shoplifted from Wal-Mart.

@gil69 I have to disagree. The cop was young, and these type of incidents happen very rarely. We did not see all the havoc the idiot caused on the highway....sounded pretty bad. I think the cops behaviour was acceptable, average, and fairly well controlled...all things considered.

This happened in my neck of the woods in Texas. Fairly old video but a Cops classic. The video starts toward the end of the chase and doesnt show all the wrecks this piece of worthless shit stain on society caused, one of them flipping a car over on the freeway after he sidewiped it. Anyway the beating at the end is pretty restrained if you ask me. They should have just shot the fuckhead on the spot. Good job cops, keep up the good work.

The only thing that pisses me off about this video (unless I missed it) is that the cops didn't call in the final accident until after they had the "suspect" in custody. Precious minutes were wasted.

Are you blind? For starters he ran from the police hitting multiple people on the way. When he finally crashed he jumped from the front to the back. Than they had to drag him out of the van. Watch the vid, he's spreading his arms and rolling back and forth. At one point he managed to get on his back. How can you NOT call that resisting "at all"?

arresting people like this then putting them in jail is really a nice way for them to be treated. best thing to do is to shoot the s.o.b fkn cockaroach

They already did call in the accident, the cop was just trying to make it quicker, if you listen after he calls it in, the dispatcher says already on route
