Pretty cool camera. It helps in case the life guard is too busy flirting with a girl/guy and someone is drowning.

I was looking at the reaction of the female bodyguard to the alarm on the screen.

seriously 4 fucking lifegaurds and that girl sat at the bottom drowing for almost a minute? I can barely hold my breath that long and they're sitting on top of the water probably trying to remember what they should do when someone's drowning. what a complete fucking joke. This is the swimming pool in the next city to me actually. It's in Bangor, North Wales. I think only one person has ever died in that particular pool. They installed the system because the glare from the sunlight meant that the lifeguards weren't able to react quick enough to any emergencies.

Oh, and we don't all talk like those two lifeguards. They seemed to sound like they came from some trailer park somewhere.

With proper training and responsible lifeguards(neither of which are here) this couldve been avoided. C'mon !! 4 were on duty and not ONE of them noticed this girl??? Starting to think this may have been a PROMOTIONAL AD for camera system because to anyone who has worked as a lifeguard it seems to have been a little stretched.

When I was 14 years old me and my stoned out buddies saved a girl's life who was in the same predicament at the "Family Athletic Club" here in Pueblo. The "lifeguard" was apparently either stoned to the toes, or distracted by some of the guys in their "Speedos." When we got her up, all the dumb bitch had to say was, "I'd of taken care of it. You guys should've let the professionals here take care of it."

Yes this is an obvious re-enactment....but it shouldve never happened in the first place. Having been a lifeguard/swimming instructor for 5 years after high school this is total lack of attention on the lifeguards behalf. 1.) Pool doesnt look to be that large....even so with 4!! (FOUR!!) on duty....every inch of that pool could be watched easily. 2.) At very least you take a quick head count as you scan a section.....repeat....rep eat... 3.) 2 lifeguards shouldve been stationed in the deep end....only makes sense....1 in chair near middle...1 at shallow end walking from one side to the other...and TWO at deep end...one on each side....QUITE SIMPLE.

My day has just ended on the perfect note. Never heard of this system though, but glad it was there. Think about it though. What if you had been swimming in the same pool unknowingly where a 13 year old girl was dieing? Creepy

I almost drowned once my self when i was 9. that was reallly scary. :( Luckily i was saved by a near by woman.
