Yeah..pretty much. A lot of people do not survive 75 mph jumps into water (but lesser ones they do).

That bridge right there has killed way more than it hasn't. But If they awkwardly land on there feet or are a professional with intentions of landing it correctly, yeah then..they might survive it.

If somebody wants less of risk all together..weapon plus concrete is better. Would you rather jump off somewhere knowing there is a chance, a small one, but a chance you might survive, or would you rather just take your entire head off and crumble on concrete just to make sure? I live in the UK and i found out about this in Bizzare magazine. (good mag btw)

This clip is from a a documentary movie called "The Bridge" directed by Marc Steel. It is indeed the golden gate bridge in San fran. Its a great movie about suicide and social alienation as steel would talk to the relatives of the suicidees.

Steel shot for every day of 2004 during daylight from two locations, everytime somebody was peering over the rail for too long a call was made to police and the bridge itself to warn that their was a suspected suicide. Steel actually prevented several suicide attempts because of this but naturally (as in the clip) some punters just went for it with no real fanfare. I saw this movie at the theatre "The Bridge" and i like it , and is very sad yes but seems like when people go out of their way to do this , we relaly have no clue why theyre suffering , obviously , jumping is such a better option for them , so we cannot judge this people , hope they had found peace , remmeber they were sick , mental illness is real as it can get , "live and let die" oh what fuking cliche just said lol

I actually watched this movie/documentary and I have to say it was heart wrenching. Its really gets into the stories behind the people and takes a look into the way they think and feel. Its called "The Bridge" (as already mentioned).
