@crederer: How do you figure? You are saying that when people catch the police doing something wrong, and call them on it, that HURTS the community? How so? I suppose you might consider that hurting the community, if you like living in a police state!

I repeat: In my community, the police in recent years have done some very bad things, causing the deaths of innocent people. Maybe you live in a nicy-nice community where the police always do the right thing, but I do not. And I resent the hell out of this "do whatever the police tell you to do" attitude. I don't want to end up dead like those others. Or have friends and family end up dead... because they did "what the police told them" to do.

When the police are wrong, it is your DUTY to call them on it. Only that will keep them from abusing their privileges.
