Why didn't they run him over? I'm disappointed.
It was an attempted car jacking. This thug and his brother were walking up and down the road with a gun for forty-five minutes. The police were called but did not respond. The people who knocked him out were local people protecting a post office the brothers had tried to rob. The reason the police did not arrive is because these two brothers are paid police informers.
