Whether he was legally entitled to video tape from the street or not, I can fully understand why they wanted to beat the shit out of him.
Well I don't know what the guy did. That's why I can't say much about this video. If the guy receiving those couple of kicks to the side is innocent then boo for the cops, but if the suspect killed a cop or attacked cops then go ahead and swing him a couple of times. That's the problem I DON'T KNOW what happened prior to the starting of this video.
"police brutality for no reasons" how do you know there "is no reasons" if you DO NOT KNOW what happened before the video? i.e. if someone shoots your best friend you are probably very angry. "but police officers should always act professionally no matter what the case" yes, but they're humans and humans get angry.

ok i see what you mean toejam...i am sure this guy didn't kill nobody: just from seeing all the vids i saw on the net, i can state that if that guy actually did something they would have kicked his ass pretty hard, tasered him peppersprayed him, and then they would have sued the poor guy for violence toward them...that's the way police do to back themselves up when they know they abused someone... and in our previous exchange mail, i wasn't talking about criminals that are real criminals like smugglers, murderas....i was talking about people that you judge them being criminals whereas they are not at all...do you consider someone driving too fast as a criminal? or do u think i am a criminal just because i like to smoke 2 or 3 spliffs after a hard-working day?
I agree that was over the top.. I am no cop but they are humans too. You give people ANYONE lots of money or power and it changes them. But trust me if you give 99% of people a gun and a badge they will act a 100 times worst than what we see on those tapes. When I am being jumped by a couple of idiot thugs, I would rather see a 5-0 around than not.
of course not as bad criminal as murderers and drug dealers but if your country's law says using marijuana is criminal then you basically are a criminal 
even one of my friends smokes weed sometimes but I don't go at it on his face about it. I just sometimes point out that it's illegal and he should probably quit smoking that shit.

man very often the cops we see in those kinda vids are behaving exactly the way thugs or pseudo-gangstas behave...if this kinda behavior is wrong for thugs then how can it be just "ok" for the coppers??

It could have been gang related, it may have had a profound impact on the club owner, it could have been any reason...but this guy keeps barking about his right to film after they told him to stop. they didn't get besides themselves until the guy kept barking, THEN they used force. Anything could have been at stake, but mainly it's obstruction of law when you don't do what the police ask of you. Plain and simple. Cuff his dumb ass...
Yeah an officer tells you to do something, DO IT! You don't stand in the street when a crime or accident has taken place and debate about why it's right to video tape something that doesn't concern you. If that guy would of hit the officer pushing him, that cop could of easily charged him with 'assult of an officer'.

You don't do something just cause a cop tells you to, you abide by the law, the police, believe it or not aren't the law. If I wasn't breaking the law and a cop told me to stop recording I'd tell him to shove it up his ass. You ever read 1984? There is a good example of why you don't simply put your tail between your legs and comply to everything an authority says.

Until you need them huh? Then what do they do? Stand around with their thumbs in their pockets and take down notes. Yeah, sir, here's our number give us a call. Do they bother to find out who broke into your car? Naaah, real life aint CSI you know. After my backpack was stolen, I pointed out the very building the theives ran into. "Sorry sir, that's a private residence building we can't go in there" Used excessive force to arrest my sister in front of me and her son. Sent 20 cop cars to arrest a black man in my home town. An old lone black man with only an arrest record of public drunkeness. Hell, they wouldn't even send an extra patrol to my upper middle income suburb so we had to pay for a patrol car- then they mysteriously found one. Does anyone remember the cop that got busted shooting a criminal in the back? It was caught on camera from a newscopter- HA HA Busted! Fuck em!
In my personal experience the good ones are the rare ones. I truly feel sorry for them because they have big obstacles to overcome. To me they are the ones that truly have balls. Those men in Blue- I salute!
The only sting operation they set up that I'm happy that they do is for stolen cars. Leave the hookers alone. Drugs? Fuck-it, find the hit-and-runs. Patrol neighborhoods so that burglaries go down. Have a presence like Vista is talking about.

1st off. The guy has the full legal right to record because it is a public place and it is the authorities we're talking about! He is being denied that legal right! Especially has the right because there's not something like fireshots being fired 
2ndly. Why are these cops going thru such a power trip?! One night a woman's asking for help. I run out to help her. She's all bloody on the pavement. About three cars stop right infront of us. Fat women come out and say the victim's gonna die! Fat women throw blows at the victim, I'm bravely blocking those blows and calling the "cops". Cops arrive and ask me for story. I give it to them. He stares at me with such a huge smurk and smile on his face... not to mention those huge sunglasses he had on as if the sun were really out and asks me, "What are you, scared?!" WTF?! He then walks to the other fatasses and lets them go... the ambulance then arrived and and helped out the victim!
THAT'S WHY "COPS/MEN" LIKE YOU DON'T GET RESPECT. NOT JUST BECAUSE OF THE ABOVE BUT THE VIDEO! SO YEAH.. KEEP UP THOSE GOOD EXAMPLES FOR YOUR KIDS, OTHER LIL' KIDS THAT ADMIRE YOU GUYS, OR EVEN OLDER PEOPLE THAT WANNA BE LIKE YOU! YOU'RE JUST LEADING THEM TO A DEADEND JOB!
NOW TO YOU TEOJAM! QUIT CONTRADICTING SO MUCH WHEN YOU'VE JUST WITNESSED IT ALL. Yeah.. no one knows what happened before he started recording. But if a person yells smack at you in the street you're most likely gonna beat em' up, right?! Well... then they'll call the cops on you and try and press charges! Cops won't care what you say they told you. If the person has physical evidence on him you're going down. The same goes for this case! A jury will not care what happened before they started recording... they have pure evidence of the police brutality and agression! Enough said!!
THAT'S WHY I DON'T SUPPORT ANY POLICE FUNDS! WHEN I GET THOSE DAMN ANNOYING CALLS ASKING FOR MONEY FOR THE POLICE I'M STRAIGHT UP AND TELL THE TELEMARKETER THAT I DON'T SUPPORT ANYTHING THE POLICE DOES!
Take 100 random people, give them police uniforms, guns, badges, etc. You will have the bastards, the gangs, the general wankers and finally the few decent people and the one saint.
I hate police because they are just people given uniforms, the uniform doesn't hide the fact that they're a complete cunt.

Wow this is another example of why cops get a bad name. Maybe the dude was annoying but 100 cops to 1 dude (so it's not like they feared for their safety) who didn't really do anything . Power Trip!!!
