This was not the cops fault at all. The driver of the SUV thought he/she could get across the road so they weren't stuck waiting for the line of cars. I just don't understand how they couldn't see the cop in the left lane....WITH HIS CHERRIES ON. WTF!!!!
And a big FUCK YOU to the ones that are always so quick to blame the cop.

Unless a police officer is blocking the intersecton, the SUV had the right of way. Given this was in a residential area, the motorcycle officer was driving too fast and failed to maintain control. This easily could have been a child or pet that wanders into the roadway. Just because the officer could legally speed to get where he wanted to go, doesn't give him the right to go so fast as to not maintain control.
