That's not clever. The reason others don't do such moves has nothing to do with intelligence, but because they are sportmen.
I played Rugby League and I'd never agree to such rubbish tactic. I'd rather lose by 100 points than pervert the spirit of the game.
A cricket player in Australia did a similarly low act to win a game and he regretted for the rest of his life.

That's genius. Unlike Australian Rules Football and Rugby, Gridiron is a thinking players game. The play was live, the ball hiked, there was no whistle, the captain of the defense should have read that and creamed the QB. Gridiron always involves the distraction, faking the momentum. The whole offense were good actor's. Beautiful.
