Some people were complaining that the news reporters didn't step in and try to stop this. I'm just wondering if they expected them to record the attackers to death, or what?

This happened to someone in NY when I was there. I just yelled POLICE as loud as I could just 3 feet away from the people hitting on the poor girl. It was a "3 card Monte" ring" and I knew they had more people around. They got in a couple more punches and ran off.
