Yeah, I heard FOD was largely bogus, but this had an authentic ring to it. Now, if the criminal had been white then I would have known this was fake, because white people never get sentenced to death. We all know that, right? Heheh
Anyway, I hope this video was real because it proves that the methods used in death penalty cases are in fact quite humane. This guy did not suffer much at all. I would bet that the person he murdered suffered much more. Anyway, I won't be satisfied until I see someone cook. Bring on the electric chair baby. I want some Gumbo! Time to watch someone fry. Now THAT is cruel and inhuman! And that is just the sort of punishment that needs to be meted out to animals!

if you have someone locked up you keep them there you can't kill them and still claim the moral high ground.

It does look a lot more humane then the stoning of the woman in Iran or the tripple hanging in Iraq where they raised the people up from the ground. He probably was a guy that got the chamber for a rape that DDUKE committed. He is pretty black and back in those days that's all it really took.

Apparently gas chamber is one of the most brutal ways of dying but a lot of people don't think it is because it looks relatively peaceful looking, unless the convict really fights it and tries not to inhale. Then it looks quite gruesome as well.

Faces of Death was good about 20 years ago. Was it Dr. Francis B. Gross who narrated? Shocking Asia is about as old, but it's much better.

To start off, what a relief it is not to read what DDuke2 had to say about this. I was sick of him getting his jollies off of us replying to his ignorance. Well, this seems awfully real to me I remember seeing it as a kid and it fucked with me for awhile (not to mention the other shit on FOD). Really sickening. In my state they use the electric chair and from the videos I have seen of those executions, it is much more painful and gruesome. I am lazy, but I am sure with a little research the answer to this vids authenticity wouldn't be too hard to find. If anybody has the time it would great to know.

This looks familiar, like something I might have seen in one of those Faces of Death videos.
The man narrating the vid is talking about rehabilitation, and I don't believe in that.
Sure, I do think that people can commit horrible acts, and change, but that choice does not become your own anymore once you get caught.
Captured violent offenders should be jailed, beaten, tortured, and treated as unfairly as humanly possible. Let them be an example to all others who even possess a single inclination to harm another human without cause. And be certain, that if ever they should be released, they will think longer, and harder before they ever return to a life they lived before.

Ok on SEVERAL POINTS this is NOT an ACTUAL EXECUTION
a. No Warden Present
b. No Witnesses Present
c.Wrong Lever is pulled.The lever they are pulling
is for the ammonia AFTER the execution is done
d. No valve is opened for the acid/water mix to flow
under the chair into the well that the pellets are
dropped into.
e. NO STATE Except Missouri pre loads the gas chamber
with Acid and Cyanide.
f. No Exhaust fan is turned on after door is sealed.
With respect to the comment of slow death(5-20 minutes)
the executee is knocked out by the gas after the 2nd breath.Death while slow in coming happens after the comdemned is knocked out.The foaming,shitting,pee ing,convulsing and straining against the straps is done after the Prisoner is insensate.(knocked out)

This "execution" was filmed at the Arizona State Prison.The actual Gas Chamber at the ASP is Blue in the interior with a silver chair,double leg straps and the ceiling lights are visible from the outside of the chamber(as you face the inside from the door)There has only been ONE video taped actual Gas Chamber Execution and that was of Robert Alton Harris in California in 1994. This while looking actual is fake as is the electrocution scene on Faces of Death. How do I know about Gas Chambers?I worked on Death Row in Parcham State Penn in Mississippi and witnessed 3 executions in a REAL Gas Chamber.

and insofar as "back in the day" comment about Gas chamber executions the LAST execution in the US by Cyanide Gas was of Walter LeGrand in Arizona in 1999.This chamber remains active since there are 8 other inmates on Death Row in Arizona under sentence of Gas. Just to clarity the point. The last electrocution was in the State of Alabama in 2004. So much for "back in the day".

I remember seeing this on SteakAndCheese.com 
before it became a pay site . I thought they did away with the gas chamber executions after the end of WW2 due to the suffering the soldiers saw after they raided the liberated concentration camps. Oh well.. 
Fun trivia fact: most gas chamber executions use cyanide as the lethal gas.
