This is exactly how the Americas would be today if European settlers didn't colonize the new world. People would still be living in mud huts and sacrificing each other (ie the Aztecs and the Mayans). It may not be politically correct but it's the truth. (Braces for hateful comments)
Not all of Africa is like this. This is probably central/east Africa, and the sticks, at that.
If you filmed a documentary in a redneck town in Texas where they're chasing a greased up pig and showed it to Africans in African cities or towns, they'd probably have the same reaction.

I think its a responsibility to conquer them. If we let them keep being savages then they will never have full access to todays modern medicines and medical breakthroughs. In the end more of them would die of disease than by mistreatment by Europeans. Conquering is for the greater good. For example; If Europeans had more involvement in Africa then there AIDS epidemic would not be as bad today. So what's it going to be? Let them keep dying of AIDS and diseases that could easily be cured if Europeans intervened, or do the politically incorrect act of intervening and having a few natives mistreated and killed in the process of modernization. The second option would be better in the end. Also, I do realize that Europe WAS (key word was) a more violent place but not anymore. Africa after all these years is more dangerous than ever well with their civil wars and such. Only South Africa is modernized and safe and that's because white people were involved and actually make goo use of the land.

Is it just me or is that all just ritualistic simulated combat? You see, it all looks really choreographed and they were definitely 'pulling their punches' with those big sweeping swingy shots.
