Ridiculous. by the way, this teacher was fired for this incident. China in early 2007 passed a law banning corporal punishment, and this happened after the law was passed. Two of the students spanked here told their parents, who immediately complained to the superintendent, thus, after the investigation, he was fired, and rightly so. There is no place for this reprehensable behavior in an educational setting.
