He was taken out in a 'martial law' type of sense. He should've gotten a trial through the Vietnamese system--but it wasn't in cold blood. Look up the name on Wiki for further details, if interested.

How do I know this . Because it was splashed in every paper , and on every newsreel when it happened. I was in my mid twenties, and a lot more lucid than I am today!.

good for the general. as someone else pointed out, most commie professors and pinkos in general used that footage for years against America... I guess in their mind the crimes of that little communist shitstain didn't warrant his execution.
