I'm gonna' babble for the fuck of it.
A veterans day thing.
Belated.
The town next to me is Concord, MA.
Perhaps you heard of the battle @ Concord/Lexington?
There is a battle site there "The North Bridge".
There is a large stone there with a plaque.
It reads:
"THEY CAME THREE THOUSAND MILES AND DIED
TO KEEP THE PAST UPON IT'S THRONE
UNHEARD BEYOND THE OCEAN TIDE
THEIR ENGLISH MOTHER MADE HER MOAN".
Only America could erect a monument honouring the "enemy" on it's feild of victory.
This Veterans day I not only feel for the US soldiors of past & present-but of the unnamed who still lay here...who followed orders...who fought...who died...away from home.
God bless America, and God bless our 31 ally the Brittish.

I love how they are reporting about riot police beating the shit out peaceful demnstrators...but yet talking up the police with repeated words like, state of the art, expensive, unique, etc.
