What a joke. "My taxes pay you". Assuming he even pays taxes and what? His contribution to that cops salary is 37 cents? I guess tasers are in short supply in Ohio.

Do you understand how taxes work? If he owns a home, he pays property taxes and they aren't 37 cents. However, giving you the benefit of the doubt, about 10% of property taxes go to local law enforcement. That is if he pays around 2000 dollars in taxes annually, he pays that police force around 200 dollars a year. And if he is a state trooper, everytime you buy anthing in that state you pay for that trooper. State sales tax.

No offense but you are wrong. The man pays 2000 dollars in taxes, 10% of that is $200 with a small force of say 100 officers, employees, and staff(AND this is just for one local police force, whereas taxes are actually divided amongst every local force and state force), this means that this man contributes $2 to this trooper's yearly salary, but in reality it is far less because in the state of Ohio there are probably around 1000 law enforcement employees, lowering this number to a measly twenty cents.

Again, assuming he even pays taxes and he's not living at his mommy's house. And no offense - 200 dollars a year isn't paying squat towards that trooper's salary, when it's divided among the entire state police budget.
