Not every state has a death penalty, and lethal injection is the standard. A quick internet search reveals only 2 states even provide hanging as a method of execution, with 3 people being killed in such a manner since 1976, WHEN EXECUTION WAS REINSTATED.
Furthermore, 10 states provide electrocution as a method, with 154 people being put to death with it since 1976. Are you following this? Or are you too fat and foreign to understand how another country's system works?

The point is that America, "leader of the free world", is one of the few developed countries left in the world that still uses the death penalty.
