I believe in freedom of speech. It is intended to ensure that everyones beliefs are heard in a public forum. Yes this is public in the sense that everyone is given an opportunity to state their beliefs and participate freely. However, this is not public in the sense that it is not run by the government and paid for by the people. This is a private enterprise and participation isn't a rite. So that is to say that after years of fighting people that didn't appear to want or have the fortitude to stand up and fight for democracy, why were we there? The 'cut and run' mentality that you have about liberals imply that democrats have no interests in spreading democracy where wanted and needed, is not true. Until recently there existed no evidence that the Iraqis wanted what we intended to force on them. Have you considered that the 'cut and run' mentality simply expressed a desire to not see more of our brave soldiers die in vain? Anyway, if what we are doing there ends up resulting in good for the Iraqis then I'll be happy. Happy to admit that I was wrong. I still have my doubts. And even if it does end up well for them I still believe that the "why" was wrong.

M-4 or M-16, doesn't really matter, they're american made and used exclusively by the US and allies... These weapons require alot of maintance. I heard you have to clean them everyday. Also, I don't know if they have bootlegged ammo in Iraq, but I imagine getting M-4/M-16 ammo is kinda hard. I slow-mode the clip and around 0.11, I see two of these rifles..

Just because it is hard to obtain the ammo doesn't mean that they aren't going to use them. In fact to use the enemies weapons is kinda a point of pride. If your trying to imply that they were given them I seriously doubt it. To clean a weapon really isn't that hard and if it's not used and if it's treated well then it doesn't have to be cleaned everyday. All firearms 'Should' be cleaned after each use.
